A strongly modeled serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and a consistent rightward slant. Serifs are bracketed with a wedge-like, slightly flared character, and many joins show a subtle calligraphic swelling that gives strokes a lively, handwritten rhythm despite the sturdy weight. Counters are compact and the overall color is dense, with rounded forms (C, O, Q) showing crisp, tapered terminals and a distinctive ball/teardrop finishing on several lowercase letters. The numerals read as oldstyle-style figures with noticeable ascenders/descenders, reinforcing a traditional text texture.

Well suited for editorial headlines, cover typography, and short-to-medium text passages where a rich, traditional serif texture is desired. It also works effectively for quotes, cultural/event materials, and formal printed pieces that benefit from a bold italic presence.

The font conveys a classic, bookish tone with a confident, slightly theatrical italic energy. It feels established and authoritative, leaning toward traditional publishing and refined branding rather than neutral UI typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a robust, high-contrast italic serif that feels rooted in classic typography while remaining emphatic and attention-getting. Its bracketed wedges and lively terminals suggest a goal of combining traditional book-seriffed credibility with expressive, display-capable rhythm.

Uppercase forms are upright in construction but participate in the same italic slant, producing a cohesive, forward-moving line. The italic’s internal shapes stay open enough for text, but the heavy stroke weight and tight counters make it most comfortable at moderate to larger sizes where the detailing and terminals can breathe.
