A strongly weighted serif with pronounced thick–thin contrast and wedge-like, flared stroke endings. Serifs are bracketed and often triangular, with tapered joins that give vertical stems a carved, chiseled feel. Counters are relatively compact and openings are tightly controlled, while curves (notably in C, G, S, and the bowls of B/D/P/R) show a confident, slightly calligraphic modulation. The overall texture is dark and punchy, with crisp edges and energetic tapering at terminals that keeps the heavy weight from feeling blocky.

Best suited to display settings where strong contrast and flared terminals can be appreciated, such as headlines, cover lines, posters, and branding wordmarks. It can also work for short editorial bursts—pull quotes, section openers, and packaging copy—where a dense, dramatic texture is desirable.

The font projects authority and drama, combining a traditional serif voice with a more forceful, poster-ready presence. Its sharp flares and high contrast add a theatrical, headline-driven character that feels editorial and emphatic rather than neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif foundation with amplified contrast and flared terminals for impact. Its sculpted, wedge-like serifs and compact counters suggest a focus on creating a bold, authoritative voice optimized for attention and presence in large sizes.

Uppercase forms read sturdy and monumental, while lowercase shows distinctive, sculpted details (such as a single-storey “g” and wedge-ended strokes) that increase personality. Numerals are bold and attention-grabbing, with strong curvature and pronounced contrast that matches the letterforms closely.
