A high-contrast italic serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a forward-leaning, calligraphic construction. Capitals are broad and sculpted with bracketed serifs and sharp, wedge-like finishing, while many joins and terminals taper to fine points or teardrop-like shapes. The lowercase shows a lively, handwriting-influenced rhythm with single-storey forms (notably a and g), curved entry strokes, and softly swelling stems that emphasize diagonal stress. Numerals follow the same italic logic, with open counters and tapered terminals that keep the set energetic and light on its feet despite the contrast.

Well-suited to editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis—pull quotes, standfirsts, captions, and highlighted phrases in long-form reading. It can also serve elegantly in short headlines, cultural programs, formal announcements, and invitation-style materials where a classic, refined tone is desirable.

The overall tone feels traditional and bookish, with a refined, editorial polish. Its italic energy reads as cultured and expressive rather than flamboyant, suggesting emphasis, quotation, or ceremonial formality.

Designed to deliver a classical italic companion with strong calligraphic cues and clear, high-contrast modeling. The intention appears to balance traditional serif authority with a more expressive, handwritten cadence for emphasis-driven typography.

Stroke contrast and tapering create crisp internal whitespace at larger sizes, while the animated curves and pointed details give the text line a distinct sparkle. The italic angle is consistent and the forms maintain a cohesive, classical serif vocabulary across letters and figures.
