A sturdy serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and compact, bracketed serifs that read sharply even at heavy weight. The capitals are broad and strongly modeled, with rounded joins and clear vertical stress; curves (C, G, O, Q) feel full and controlled rather than calligraphic. Lowercase forms are solid and slightly compact, with a double‑storey a and g, a deep-shouldered n/m, and a clear, open e.
