A high-contrast serif with a narrow stance and a distinctly vertical rhythm. Strokes transition from very fine hairlines to firm main stems, with crisp, bracketed serifs and subtly flared terminals that give the ends a shaped, calligraphic finish rather than blunt cuts. Curves are smooth and controlled, counters are relatively tight, and the overall color reads dark and elegant at text sizes. Numerals and capitals maintain a disciplined, classical proportioning that supports clear hierarchy in mixed settings.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, book jackets, and literary branding where contrast and refinement are desirable. It can carry headlines and subheads with authority, and also works for short-to-medium text passages when set with adequate size and leading to preserve hairline clarity.

The font conveys a polished, literary tone—confident and cultured with an editorial sensibility. Its sharp detailing and bright hairlines suggest sophistication and restraint, lending a premium feel without becoming ornamental.

The design appears intended to blend classic serif conventions with gently flared stroke endings, producing a contemporary editorial face that feels traditional in structure but more sculpted in its terminals and finishing.

In the sample text, the contrast and fine details remain prominent, creating a crisp, upscale texture; the narrow proportions help fit more characters per line while keeping a composed, traditional presence. The flared shaping at terminals adds a subtle warmth that softens the otherwise precise, incisive forms.
