This is a high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and crisp, tapered strokes. The serifs are finely bracketed and often wedge-like, with pointed terminals that reinforce a sharp, calligraphic finish. Curves are smooth and tightly controlled, while verticals and diagonals show strong thick–thin modulation; capitals feel slightly condensed with generous internal whitespace. Lowercase forms are narrow and rhythmic, with teardrop and ball-like details appearing in places (notably on forms such as the g), and ascenders that read cleanly above a moderate x-height. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with elegant curves and thin hairline joins.

Well-suited to editorial layouts, book and magazine typography, and refined titling where an italic voice is desired. It can also work effectively for pull quotes, headings, and formal collateral such as invitations, where the sharp contrast and tapered serifs add a premium feel.

The overall tone is polished and literary, leaning toward classic book typography and upscale editorial design. Its sharp hairlines and poised italic movement convey sophistication and a sense of formality without feeling overly ornate.

The design appears intended to provide a classic italic companion style with strong contrast and a disciplined, text-oriented rhythm, balancing elegance with readability. Its narrow proportions and crisp detailing suggest a focus on fitting comfortably in composed lines while still delivering a distinctive, upscale tone.

At larger sizes the hairline detailing and bracket transitions read especially clean, giving the face a crisp sparkle. The italic construction is consistent across capitals, lowercase, and figures, supporting a cohesive typographic color in running text as well as in display lines.
