A high-contrast italic serif with sharp, tapered terminals and finely bracketed serifs that give strokes a carved, calligraphic finish. The letters show pronounced diagonal stress and a lively rhythm, with narrow joins and wedge-like entry/exit strokes that keep counters open despite the strong thick–thin modulation. Uppercase forms feel slightly compact and slanted, while lowercase shapes carry smooth, continuous curves and energetic ascenders/descenders; numerals echo the same sloped, contrasty construction.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as book interiors, magazine features, and pull quotes where a refined italic is needed for emphasis. It also works effectively for formal invitations, cultural or luxury branding accents, and titling where high contrast and a dynamic slant can provide elegant distinction.

The overall tone is polished and traditional, projecting a bookish, upscale voice with a distinctly classic italic flourish. Its crisp hairlines and sweeping curves add drama and sophistication, suggesting editorial refinement rather than casual readability.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast italic companion for text typography, balancing classical serif structure with calligraphic motion. It aims to deliver an authoritative, literary texture while maintaining enough clarity for extended settings and typographic emphasis.

Stroke transitions are decisive and clean, with pointed beaks and delicately finished terminals that emphasize motion across a line. The italic slant is consistent and the spacing appears tuned for flowing text, producing a cohesive, slightly formal texture at display and text sizes alike.
