A spidery, hand-inked text face with slender strokes and subtly uneven contours that read like pen on rough paper. Terminals are sharp or lightly hooked, with occasional swelling and tapering that creates a soft calligraphic contrast without feeling formal. The overall rhythm is irregular in a controlled way: stems vary slightly in thickness and alignment, curves show gentle wobble, and spacing feels organic. Capitals are tall and narrow with simple, lightly flared construction, while lowercase forms are compact with a small x-height and long ascenders/descenders that add vertical texture. Numerals follow the same scratchy, handwritten logic, staying narrow and lightly ornamented rather than geometric.

Works best for display and short-to-medium passages where an organic, vintage tone is desired: book covers, chapter headings, posters, thematic packaging, product labels, and game or film titling. It can also add flavor to pull quotes or UI headers when the goal is atmosphere rather than neutrality.

The font conveys an aged, ink-worn personality—evoking old notes, apothecary labels, folklore titles, and slightly spooky ephemera. Its narrow, wiry texture feels nervous and atmospheric, making it well suited to themes that want handcrafted authenticity over polish.

The design appears intended to mimic narrow handwritten lettering captured through imperfect printing or aged reproduction, preserving pen irregularities and slight wear. It prioritizes character and period mood, aiming for an evocative, crafted voice that still remains readable in headline and text-size applications.

In running text, the long verticals and frequent hooks create a lively, slightly restless color on the line. The distressed edge quality is consistent across letters and figures, giving the face a cohesive “printed-from-hand” character rather than random damage.
