This serif has sharply tapered, high-contrast strokes with clear thick–thin modulation and crisp terminals. Serifs are bracketed and relatively fine, giving the outlines a sculpted, print-like clarity, while the stems remain firm and vertical. Proportions feel traditional with a moderately tall lowercase and compact apertures; the lowercase shows a two-storey a and g, and the forms maintain a steady, readable rhythm. In text, the overall color is clean and slightly sparkling due to the thin hairlines and generous counters.

Well-suited to editorial layouts, book work, and magazine typography where a classical serif voice is desired. It can also serve elegantly for display uses—chapter openers, pull quotes, cultural branding, and formal materials—especially when set with enough size and leading to keep the fine details crisp.

The tone is classic and editorial, projecting formality and refinement. Its pronounced contrast and crisp detailing evoke book typography and magazine aesthetics, lending an authoritative, literary feel to headings and carefully set text.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, high-contrast reading serif with an upscale, print-traditional character. It balances refined detailing with familiar proportions to feel authoritative in continuous text while remaining striking in larger sizes.

The capitals appear stately and well-contained, and the numerals show old-style influence in their shaping, adding a traditional flavor in mixed text. The high contrast is most noticeable in curves and joins, so it benefits from thoughtful sizing and spacing to preserve hairline integrity.
