This typeface uses chunky, dark strokes with sharp, knife-like terminals and frequent hooked or flared endings. The stroke edges feel intentionally rough and hand-cut, producing a ragged silhouette rather than clean curves. Counters are generally small and irregular, and several letters introduce dramatic internal shapes or cut-ins that heighten the jagged texture. Proportions vary noticeably from glyph to glyph, giving lines of text an uneven, animated rhythm while keeping a consistent blackletter-influenced structure.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, film or video title cards, haunted attraction signage, and horror or fantasy branding. It can also work for short bursts of UI text in games or themed menus, where the jagged texture adds atmosphere. For longer passages, its heavy color and irregular shapes are more effective as headings, pull quotes, or short lines than as body copy.

The overall tone is eerie and storybook-dark, with aggressive points and thorny contours that suggest danger and suspense. Its decorative sharpness reads as theatrical and gothic, leaning toward haunted-house and horror title energy rather than everyday neutrality.

The design appears intended to evoke a gothic, menacing mood through sharp terminals, roughened contours, and uneven rhythm, prioritizing character and impact over neutrality. It aims to read instantly as themed display lettering with a hand-crafted, distressed edge.

In text, the strong black mass and irregular spacing create a lively, distressed color that works best when you want the letterforms to be seen as graphics. The numerals appear comparatively simpler but still carry tapered terminals that keep them aligned with the rest of the set.
