A sturdy slab-serif with squared, largely unbracketed serifs and clean, sharply cut terminals. Strokes are fairly even with moderate contrast, producing a stable, print-like rhythm in text. Capitals are wide and structured with generous counters (notably in C, O, and Q), while diagonals in A, V, W, X, and Y are firm and geometric. The lowercase is straightforward and readable, with a compact, workmanlike feel; the two-storey a and the open shapes in e and c keep paragraphs clear.
