This serif italic shows a pronounced calligraphic construction with strong thick–thin modulation and tapered, flared stroke endings that replace blunt terminals. The letterforms have a forward lean with fluid joins and sharp, triangular entry/exit strokes, creating a lively, slightly cursive rhythm without becoming a script. Serifs are fine and bracketed, often resolving into pointed beaks on capitals, while curves (C, G, S) display crisp hairlines and broad shaded strokes. The lowercase features a single-storey a and g, a long, elegant f, and an italic j with a deep descending tail; figures appear lining with similarly high-contrast, angled stress and sharp terminals.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, book covers, and refined branding where an italic voice is meant to feel intentional and expressive. It will also work for short to medium text runs when adequate size, leading, and contrast-friendly reproduction are available.

The overall tone is polished and literary, balancing classic bookish authority with a fashionable, high-end sheen. Its sharp terminals and energetic slant lend drama and motion, while the controlled proportions keep it composed and upscale.

The design appears intended as a sophisticated italic serif with a strong calligraphic flavor, emphasizing contrast, sharpness, and tapered terminals to deliver an expressive, premium tone for editorial and display contexts.

Capitals read stately and sculptural, with generous bowls and fine hairline connections that make the contrast especially apparent at display sizes. The texture in paragraphs remains airy and rhythmic, though the thinnest strokes and pointed terminals may demand sufficient size and printing/screen quality to avoid sparkle.
