This typeface is a high-contrast italic serif with crisp hairlines and fuller, tapered main strokes that broaden into subtly flared terminals. The letterforms lean with a steady slant and show a calligraphic construction: rounded shapes are smoothly modeled, joins are clean, and stroke endings often finish in pointed, wedge-like or gently cupped forms rather than blunt cuts. Serifs read as fine and bracketed, with a lively baseline rhythm and noticeable variation in stroke thickness across curves and diagonals. Counters are generally open and well-shaped, giving the italic a clear silhouette even as the thins get very delicate in places.

It performs best where its contrast and italic motion can be appreciated: editorial headlines, magazine features, book covers, poster titles, and brand wordmarks. It can also support short text passages or pull quotes when set with enough size and spacing to protect the fine hairlines.

The overall tone is polished and cultured, with a fashion/editorial sensibility and a touch of classical formality. Its sharp contrast and flowing italic movement create a dramatic, confident voice suited to expressive typography rather than purely utilitarian settings.

The design appears intended to deliver an elegant, contemporary italic with classical roots, emphasizing calligraphic modeling, high contrast, and tapered/flared stroke endings for a distinctive editorial presence.

The figures follow the same calligraphic logic as the letters, with strong thick–thin modulation and refined terminals. Uppercase forms feel stately and slightly expansive, while lowercase maintains an energetic texture through angled stress and brisk entry/exit strokes.
