A heavy, block-built slab serif with wide proportions and a tall lowercase that keeps word shapes big and compact. Strokes are largely uniform but broken up by sharp internal notches and cut-ins that read like deliberate ink traps or chiseled facets, especially at joins and counters. Serifs are blunt and rectangular, and many curves are polygonalized into angled arcs, giving rounds (O, C, G, S) a slightly octagonal feel. Spacing is generous and the rhythm is punchy, with strong verticals and sturdy, square terminals that favor impact over finesse.

Best suited to display roles such as posters, big headlines, storefront or wayfinding-style signage, packaging titles, and event promotion graphics where the rugged detailing becomes a feature. It can also work for short blocks of emphatic text (pull quotes, labels, badges) when set large with ample tracking.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical, mixing old-time poster energy with a slightly mischievous, cut-paper roughness. It evokes Western and circus signage, fairground headlines, and retro display lettering—confident, attention-grabbing, and a bit rowdy.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact with a vintage slab-serif silhouette, then add character through angular carving and internal cut-ins that increase texture and prevent dark areas from becoming too solid. The result is a decorative, poster-oriented face that prioritizes personality and presence.

The distinctive notched details create texture at large sizes but can visually fill in at smaller settings, so the face reads best when it has room to breathe. Uppercase forms feel especially emblematic and sign-like, while the lowercase keeps the same chunky voice for sustained display text.
