A very heavy, right-leaning serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, bracketed wedge serifs. Strokes show calligraphic influence: tapered joins, sharp beaks, and angled terminals create a dynamic rhythm. The proportions are compact and slightly condensed in feel, with firm verticals and energetic diagonals; counters are tight but clear, and letterforms remain sturdy at display sizes. Numerals are bold and sculpted, matching the same high-contrast, chiseled detailing.

Best suited to high-impact typography such as headlines, magazine and newspaper titling, book-cover display, and prominent pull quotes. The strong contrast and tight spacing read most convincingly at medium-to-large sizes where the sharp terminals and bracketed serifs can be appreciated.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical while still rooted in traditional bookish forms. Its italic slant and sharp finishing strokes give it a sense of motion and emphasis, suggesting a confident, editorial voice rather than a quiet reading texture.

The design appears intended to deliver classic serif authority with heightened emphasis: a traditional italic structure amplified by heavier weight, sharper terminals, and stronger contrast for attention-grabbing, editorial-driven composition.

Serif shapes vary between pointed wedges and subtly flared terminals, creating a textured, slightly engraved appearance. The lowercase shows a strong italic construction with flowing entry/exit strokes, and the punctuation/figures keep the same emphatic, cut-in styling for consistent color across lines.
