This typeface combines calligraphic construction with serifed, high-contrast strokes and frequent swash-like terminals. Curves are lively and slightly elastic, with tapered entries and exits, while many capitals feature looped or teardrop-like bowls and inward curls. Serifs tend to be wedgey and subtly bracketed, giving the letters a carved, traditional feel despite the handwritten influence. The lowercase is comparatively restrained and readable, with a modest x-height and crisp verticals, while the capitals and select forms (notably Q, J, and several diagonals) introduce decorative rhythm and asymmetry.

Well-suited to display roles where decorative capitals can shine—such as invitations, certificates, editorial headlines, book or chapter titles, and boutique branding. It can also support short passages or pull quotes when set with comfortable size and spacing, though the most expressive impact comes from mixed-case headings and initials.

The overall tone is ceremonious and bookish, balancing elegance with a touch of theatrical flair. Its flourishes suggest tradition, craft, and a lightly romantic sensibility rather than modern minimalism.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional calligraphy translated into a serifed, typographic system: readable lowercase forms paired with expressive, flourish-forward capitals to add ceremony and distinction to titles and formal messaging.

The uppercase set carries much more personality than the lowercase, so mixed-case settings will read as classic text with occasional ornamental accents. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif logic, with open curves and distinctive stroke endings that keep them stylistically aligned with the letters.
