A high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced rightward slant and crisp, tapered terminals. The letterforms show strong thick–thin modulation reminiscent of broad-nib calligraphy, with sharp hairlines and fuller stressed strokes. Serifs are fine and pointed, often wedge-like, and many strokes end in delicate hooks or flicked details. Proportions feel slightly condensed in places with lively, varying internal widths, producing a dynamic rhythm and a distinctly italic texture. Numerals and capitals carry the same sweeping, engraved-like contrast, with curving entries and exits that keep the color light but assertive.

Best suited to editorial typography where elegance and emphasis are desired—magazine headlines, pull quotes, section openers, and refined poster or cover treatments. It can work for short to medium passages when ample size and spacing preserve the hairlines and maintain clarity.

The overall tone is polished and expressive—luxurious rather than utilitarian. Its dramatic contrast and fluent italics evoke fashion and literary culture, suggesting sophistication, romance, and a slightly theatrical flair.

The font appears designed to deliver a classic italic voice with heightened contrast, combining traditional serif structure with calligraphic motion for expressive, premium-feeling typography.

At larger sizes the razor-thin hairlines and sharp joins read as crisp and premium, while in denser settings the slanted forms create a fast, energetic flow. The design’s emphasis on stroke contrast and pointed details gives it a decorative edge even when used as running text.
