A delicate, high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharp, hairline terminals. The letterforms are narrowly proportioned with a vertical axis and finely bracketed serifs that taper cleanly into stems. Curves are smooth and controlled, with tight apertures and compact bowls that keep the overall texture bright and crisp. Lowercase shows a traditional, print-oriented construction (notably the two-storey a and g) and an elegant, slightly calligraphic rhythm in joins and terminals.

Well suited for editorial layouts, book work, and magazine typography where a classic serif voice is desired. It can also serve effectively in refined titles, pull quotes, and formal collateral such as invitations, provided printing or display conditions preserve the fine hairlines.

The tone is polished and literary, evoking classic book typography and formal editorial design. Its thin finishing and composed proportions read as elegant and somewhat dramatic, suited to settings where refinement matters more than rugged durability.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional, high-contrast reading serif with a slender footprint and an elevated, classical tone. Its narrow proportions and crisp finishing suggest a focus on elegant text and headline composition rather than utilitarian or industrial applications.

In the sample text the spacing feels measured and the contrast produces a lively sparkle, especially in capitals and numerals. The narrow build encourages economical line lengths and a tall, stately silhouette in headings, while the fine serifs and thin strokes ask for adequate size and reproduction quality to stay clear.
