A compact, angular blackletter with broken strokes and pointed joins that create a faceted, chiselled silhouette. Vertical stems dominate, with rhythmic, repeating uprights and small interior counters shaped as narrow diamonds or slits. Terminals are sharp and wedge-like, and many curves resolve into segmented corners rather than continuous rounds, producing an even, disciplined texture in lines of text. Capitals are tall and constructed from the same straight-edged logic, while lowercase forms maintain a consistent, condensed cadence; numerals follow the same hard-edged, gothic construction.

Best suited to short, prominent settings such as headlines, posters, mastheads, event titles, packaging accents, and logo wordmarks where its historic character can lead. It can work for brief text blocks when set with generous size and spacing to preserve clarity.

The overall tone is medieval and ceremonial, conveying authority and tradition with a stern, formal voice. Its sharp geometry and dense rhythm evoke manuscript lettering and historic signage, giving the text a dramatic, old-world presence.

The letterforms appear designed to capture a classic blackletter voice with consistent, modular construction and a disciplined vertical rhythm. The intent seems to balance ornamental medieval character with a relatively controlled, repeatable texture for display typography.

In the sample text, the repeated vertical strokes create a strong dark color and a tight, patterned rhythm, especially in sequences of n/m/u and other minims. The design reads best when given enough size or spacing to keep the interior openings from visually filling in.
