A delicate serif with strong thick–thin modulation and hairline terminals that stay crisp even at larger sizes. The serifs are small and neatly bracketed, giving joins a soft, calligraphic transition rather than a rigid, mechanical feel. Proportions are on the narrow-to-moderate side with generous inner counters, and the overall rhythm is even and quiet. Lowercase forms read traditionally with a two-storey “a,” open “e,” and a compact, double-storey “g,” while the numerals appear oldstyle, blending smoothly into text with varied heights and subtle curves.

This face is well suited to editorial typography such as books, essays, and magazine features where a classic serif texture is desired. It also fits refined branding, formal stationery, and display lines where the high contrast and fine details can be appreciated, especially at medium to large sizes.

The tone is literary and understated—more polished than bold—conveying a sense of tradition, restraint, and editorial seriousness. Its high-contrast sparkle adds sophistication and a lightly formal mood suited to cultured or heritage-leaning design.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional, classical reading experience with added finesse from high contrast and carefully drawn serifs. It aims for elegance and clarity over heaviness, producing a light, cultivated page color for text-forward layouts.

Round letters like O and Q show a smooth, controlled stress and fine terminals; diagonals (V, W, Y) are sharply tapered, emphasizing the font’s delicate voice. Spacing in the sample text feels balanced and measured, supporting long lines without looking loose.
