A tall, tightly condensed display face with heavy vertical stems and sharply reduced counters that often collapse into slits or small apertures. Forms lean on straight, monolinear-looking verticals contrasted by tapered joins and pointed terminals, giving many letters a carved, poster-like silhouette. Curves are narrow and upright, with rounded shapes compressed into vertical ovals; diagonals (as in V, W, X) are steep and blade-like. The rhythm is emphatically vertical, with noticeable width shifts from glyph to glyph that enhance an intentionally irregular, novelty feel.
