A jagged, display-oriented alphabet with sharp wedge terminals, uneven contours, and ink-like tapering that suggests a rough pen or brush edge. Strokes show noticeable thick–thin modulation with frequent pinched joins and torn-looking tips, creating an irregular rhythm from letter to letter. Uppercase forms are tall and narrow with angular silhouettes, while the lowercase stays compact with a distinctly small x-height and occasional ascenders that spear upward. Numerals follow the same distressed, pointed construction, keeping a cohesive texture across the set.

Best suited to headlines and short phrases where a distressed, supernatural atmosphere is desired—such as horror posters, Halloween promotions, dark-fantasy packaging, game titles, and chapter or section openers. It performs strongest in large-size applications where the pointed terminals and ragged stroke edges can read as deliberate stylistic detail.

The overall tone is sinister and theatrical, combining old-world gothic cues with scratchy, corrupted edges. The spiked terminals and nervous stroke breaks evoke haunted signage, occult ephemera, and horror title cards rather than neutral text typography.

The design appears intended to deliver an instantly ominous, hand-inked look by combining narrow proportions with aggressive tapering and intentionally irregular edges. Its primary goal is mood and character, favoring dramatic silhouettes and a gritty texture over calm, continuous readability.

Spacing and sidebearings read intentionally inconsistent, producing a jittery, hand-rendered cadence in lines of text. The texture is high-impact at larger sizes, where the serrated edges and needle-like finials remain clearly legible; at smaller sizes the roughness can become the dominant feature.
