A high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared stroke endings and sharp, tapered terminals. Stems and main strokes transition from hairline to thick with a distinctly chiseled feel, and many joins are softly bracketed, lending a carved, dimensional look. Serifs are refined rather than blocky, with wedge-like entry/exit points that emphasize verticality. The lowercase shows a two-storey a and g, a compact e with a tight eye, and a slightly calligraphic rhythm in letters like r, s, and y; capitals are stately with crisp apexes and sweeping curves (notably C, G, and Q). Numerals follow the same contrasty logic, with elegant curves and delicate hairlines.

Best suited to headlines, decks, and prominent editorial typography where its contrast and sculpted terminals can be appreciated. It can also support upscale branding and packaging, especially where a refined, classical voice is desired. For longer passages, it reads most confidently when set with generous size and comfortable spacing to preserve the hairline detail.

The overall tone is polished and fashion-forward, combining classical bookish authority with a modern, high-end edge. Its sharp hairlines and flared details create a sense of drama and precision, making text feel curated and premium rather than neutral or purely utilitarian.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif structure with a more expressive, flared finish—prioritizing elegance, contrast, and a carved visual signature for high-impact editorial and brand settings.

In the sample text, the strong vertical emphasis and thin horizontals produce a bright, airy texture at larger sizes, while the hairlines and tapered terminals become the defining character in smaller details. The distinctive Q tail and the spiky, sculpted terminals contribute to a memorable display presence, even in mixed-case paragraphs.
