A robust serif with compact proportions, bracketed serifs, and slightly tapered strokes that produce a lively, uneven rhythm. Terminals and joins show deliberate roughening and soft edge breakup, creating an inked, press-like texture rather than crisp digital geometry. Counters are moderately open and bowls stay sturdy, while spacing and widths vary enough to feel organic without losing structural consistency.

This face is well suited to headlines, display copy, book jackets, and editorial titles where texture and presence are desirable. It can also support branding and packaging that aim for heritage or craft cues, especially when paired with clean supporting text. For longer passages, it works best when set with comfortable size and leading so the roughened edges don’t over-darken the page.

The overall tone is vintage and editorial, with a tactile, printed character that suggests letterpress, old paper, or stamped signage. Its rugged edges add warmth and a hint of grit, making it feel craft-made and slightly theatrical rather than strictly formal.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif construction with a deliberately distressed, ink-on-paper finish, delivering classic readability while adding handmade, printed character. It aims to evoke historical or analog production methods without becoming overly decorative.

In the samples, the texture becomes more apparent as size increases, where the irregular edges read as intentional distressing; at smaller sizes it behaves more like a sturdy text serif with extra color and grain. The numerals and capitals maintain the same inked personality, giving headings a cohesive, poster-like presence.
