A heavy, compact slab-serif with chunky, sculpted letterforms and subtly flared, bracketed slabs that read as wedge-like at the terminals. Strokes stay broadly even, but the outlines are intentionally irregular: stems bow slightly, crossbars and serifs tilt, and counters vary in size, giving the face a hand-cut, woodtype-inspired texture. Curves are round and full (notably in O, C, and lowercase bowls), while joins and feet are squared-off and emphatic, producing a strong vertical rhythm in text. Numerals match the weight and share the same sturdy slabs and slightly quirky proportions for cohesive display use.

Best suited to short, attention-grabbing settings such as posters, headlines, labels, storefront-style signage, and bold brand marks where the textured slab character can be appreciated. It also works for themed editorial callouts or event materials when a vintage, showbill voice is desired.

The overall tone feels show-poster and frontier-adjacent—confident, theatrical, and a little mischievous. Its deliberate wobble and chunky slabs evoke vintage printing, suggesting warmth and personality rather than precision or corporate neutrality.

The design appears intended to modernize classic slab/woodtype display lettering by combining bold, stable slabs with intentionally uneven, hand-made contouring. The goal is a high-impact face that remains readable while projecting a distinctly retro, theatrical personality.

Spacing appears generous for the weight, helping keep counters from clogging in larger settings, while the irregular baselines and angled terminals add motion across lines. The lowercase maintains a compact, stout feel with distinctive, bulbous forms that keep text looking lively even in longer phrases.
