A calligraphic italic with crisp serifed terminals and pronounced thick–thin modulation. Strokes show a consistent rightward slant and a lively, slightly irregular rhythm typical of broad-nib influence, with tapered entries and exits and gently bracketed serifs. Proportions are relatively narrow with a compact lowercase and short x-height, while capitals are taller and more open, creating a clear hierarchy in mixed-case setting. Curves are smooth and controlled, counters are moderately open, and joins stay unconnected, keeping the texture airy rather than dense.

Well suited to invitations, announcements, and other formal stationery where an italic calligraphic voice is desired. It also works effectively for editorial display—chapter openers, pull quotes, and refined headlines—plus premium branding and packaging accents when set with generous spacing. For lengthy text, it will be most comfortable at larger sizes where its fine hairlines and contrast can remain clear.

The overall tone is graceful and cultivated, evoking bookish tradition and formal correspondence. Its angled movement and sharp hairlines add a sense of poise and ceremony, while the handwritten character keeps it personable rather than mechanical.

The design appears intended to deliver a classical, pen-derived italic for expressive display and elegant reading, emphasizing contrast, slanted motion, and traditional serif structure to convey sophistication and formality.

In the sample text, the font maintains a steady diagonal cadence across long lines, with strong contrast and fine details that read best when given adequate size and breathing room. Numerals follow the same italic calligraphic logic, with flowing curves and tapered terminals that harmonize with the letters.
