A heavy, condensed display face built from irregular, torn-looking strokes with pronounced edge texture. Letterforms are upright with a compact width and uneven, hand-cut contours; terminals often taper or fray into spike-like points, and counters appear lumpy and eroded rather than geometric. Stroke weight stays generally robust, but the outlines introduce constant micro-variation that gives the set a restless rhythm. The numerals and lowercase follow the same distressed construction, creating a cohesive, ink-blotted silhouette across the character set.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, title cards, packaging callouts, event flyers, and cover art where the distressed silhouette can read clearly. It works especially well on dark backgrounds or with high contrast treatments, and can be paired with a neutral sans or simple serif for supporting copy.

The overall tone is ominous and unsettling, suggesting decay, shadows, and a rough handmade menace. Its jagged edges and occasional drip-like notches evoke horror title treatments and gritty, nocturnal atmospheres rather than polished editorial typography.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediate horror-forward impression through roughened outlines and spiky, decomposed terminals, prioritizing atmosphere and texture over typographic neutrality. It aims to look handmade and weathered, like ink dragged across torn paper or letters carved and worn down over time.

Texture is the defining feature: at smaller sizes the rough edges can visually fill in counters and soften internal detail, while at larger sizes the gnarly contour becomes a strong stylistic asset. Spacing and sidebearings appear tuned for display use, with the irregular outlines creating a lively, uneven color in text blocks.
