A slanted, calligraphic serif with smooth, continuous curves and gently bracketed terminals. Strokes stay relatively even while subtly swelling at turns, giving a pen-driven rhythm without sharp contrast. Capitals are broad and expressive with occasional entry/exit flourishes, while lowercase remains compact and readable with rounded bowls, a single-storey a, and long, slightly tapering ascenders/descenders. Numerals echo the same angled, oldstyle feel, with soft curves and understated finishing strokes.

This face works well for short-to-medium passages where an elegant handwritten flavor is desirable—book and magazine typography, pull quotes, menus, programs, and formal stationery. It’s especially effective in headings, subheads, and display settings where the capital forms and gentle swashes can set a classic tone without becoming overly ornate.

The overall tone feels traditional and cultivated, like formal handwriting adapted for text. It reads as warm and personable but still polished, suggesting classic publishing, invitations, or heritage-leaning branding rather than strict modern minimalism.

The design appears intended to provide a legible, text-capable calligraphic voice—formal and traditional, but restrained enough to handle continuous reading. Its goal seems to balance expressive italic movement with consistent structure and dependable serif cues for a composed, editorial feel.

Spacing and letterfit appear slightly varied in a natural, handwritten way, and the italic slant is consistent across cases and figures. The design favors rounded joins and sweeping diagonals, which helps maintain fluency in longer lines of text while keeping a distinctive, decorative top-line character.
