This serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp hairlines and carefully bracketed serifs. Capitals are stately and open, with smooth curves and tapered terminals that stay sharp rather than bulbous. Lowercase forms keep a traditional, readable skeleton, with compact, rounded bowls and a clear two-storey a and g; ascenders are relatively tall, giving lines a vertical, composed rhythm. Figures appear lining and proportional, mixing straight stems with delicately tapered curves for a consistent, high-fidelity texture in text.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as magazines, books, and long-form reading where a classic serif voice is desired. It also performs effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and refined brand applications—especially where a polished, high-contrast look is appropriate.

The overall tone is poised and cultivated, projecting a bookish, editorial sensibility. Its sharp contrast and clean finishing details read as formal and premium, lending an air of tradition without feeling overly ornamental.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif with an elevated, high-contrast finish—balancing traditional proportions with sharper detailing for contemporary editorial use. Its forms prioritize clarity and hierarchy in running text while retaining enough refinement for display settings.

In paragraph settings the letterspacing and contrast create a bright, shimmering texture, with strong emphasis on vertical strokes. The italic is not shown, but the roman exhibits controlled joins and smooth curve transitions that keep shapes crisp at larger display sizes while remaining structured in longer text.
