A slanted calligraphic serif with clear pen-driven construction and tapered stroke endings. Strokes show moderate contrast and frequent swelling into wedge-like terminals, with small bracketed serifs that feel brushed rather than mechanically drawn. Uppercase forms are slightly narrow and upright in structure but consistently leaned, while lowercase is more flowing with gently irregular stroke joins and occasional long, curling descenders. Counters are open and rounded, and spacing varies subtly from glyph to glyph, reinforcing a hand-shaped rhythm without becoming rough or distressed.

Well suited to display and short-to-medium text where its calligraphic color can be appreciated—book covers, editorial headings, pull quotes, and historical or literary packaging. It also fits formal materials such as invitations, programs, and certificates, and can support branding that wants a traditional, crafted voice.

The overall tone is classical and bookish, with a refined, old-world elegance that reads as formal yet personable. Its slant and lively terminals add warmth and movement, suggesting tradition, ceremony, and crafted lettering rather than modern minimalism.

The design appears intended to translate broad-nib or flexible-pen lettering into a consistent text font, balancing readability with expressive, tapered detailing. It aims for a traditional, chancery-like italic flavor that feels cultured and human rather than strictly typographic.

The numerals and capitals maintain the same calligraphic logic as the text, with curved entry/exit strokes and softly pointed terminals. At larger sizes the tapered details and swelling strokes become a distinctive feature, while in dense settings the active diagonals and varied widths create a dynamic texture.
