A high-contrast serif with flared stroke endings and softly bracketed terminals that give the outlines a subtle calligraphic expansion. Stems remain fairly straight and upright while curves are smooth and generously rounded, producing an even rhythm in text. The capitals are slightly wide and stately with clean, tapered serifs, while the lowercase shows compact, readable forms with pronounced thick–thin modulation and open counters. Numerals follow the same contrast and tapering, with clear, traditional proportions suited to continuous reading.

Well suited for editorial typography such as books, essays, and magazine layouts where a classic serif voice is desired. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and refined branding applications that benefit from high contrast and gently flared detailing.

The overall tone is classic and literary, projecting refinement without feeling overly formal. Its flared, tapering details add warmth and a lightly hand-influenced character, while the crisp contrast keeps it poised and authoritative.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif proportions with flared, tapered finishing to create a refined reading face that still carries a hint of calligraphic character. It aims for a balanced text texture with enough contrast and detail to feel premium in display settings.

In the sample text, the font maintains strong word shapes and consistent spacing, with particularly clear differentiation in rounded letters and a distinct, traditional ‘g’ and ‘a’. The combination of sharp entry/exit strokes and softened brackets creates a polished texture that reads well at display sizes and holds together in longer lines.
