A high-contrast italic serif with finely tapered hairlines and weighty, sculpted stems. Serifs are sharply cut yet subtly bracketed, and many joins and terminals show a calligraphic taper that reinforces the slanted rhythm. Capitals are formal and slightly narrow with crisp entry strokes, while the lowercase combines round, open bowls with long, energetic ascenders and descenders. Numerals follow the same contrast and italic slant, with smooth curves and delicate finishing strokes that keep the overall color light despite the strong thick–thin modulation.

Well-suited for editorial typography where an elegant italic is needed for emphasis, quotes, and pull lines, as well as for book interiors and magazine features. It also works for refined headings, invitations, and brand collateral that benefits from a classical, high-contrast serif look.

The tone is polished and literary, projecting sophistication and tradition with an expressive italic voice. Its sharp details and lively curves add drama and elegance, suggesting cultured, high-end communication rather than utilitarian neutrality.

Designed to deliver a traditional, text-oriented serif italic with a distinctly calligraphic slant and premium finish. The intent appears to balance readability with expressive contrast, providing an italic that can carry both continuous text and prominent emphasis gracefully.

The italic construction is consistent across cases, with noticeable stroke swelling and tapered terminals that create a lively, handwritten undercurrent. Spacing appears balanced for text use, and the strong contrast gives a sparkling texture that is most effective at comfortable reading sizes rather than very small settings.
