This is a high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced calligraphic rhythm: thick verticals and diagonals are paired with very fine hairlines and crisp, bracketed serifs. Curves show a distinctly slanted stress, and many strokes end in sharp wedge-like terminals that heighten the sense of motion. The capitals feel formal and slightly narrow with pointed apexes and clean, sculpted joins, while the lowercase is more animated, with flowing entry/exit strokes, teardrop-like forms, and lively, irregular widths that create a textured line. Figures follow the same contrast logic, with bold main strokes and delicate connecting hairlines.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazine features, pull quotes, and standfirsts where an italic voice is desirable. It can also serve in refined branding, invitations, and packaging where a classic yet expressive serif is needed. In longer passages it works best when space and output quality allow the hairlines and contrast to remain clear.

The overall tone is polished and literary, with a dramatic, fashion-forward sparkle typical of high-contrast italics. It reads as confident and upscale—more about style and cadence than neutrality—bringing a sense of tradition with a distinctly expressive, contemporary edge.

The design appears intended as a conventional text-serif italic with elevated contrast and calligraphic detailing, offering a sophisticated, expressive companion for emphasis and display-led editorial settings. Its shapes prioritize elegance and movement while keeping familiar serif structures for readability.

The italic angle is assertive and consistent, producing strong forward momentum in longer text. Fine details (hairlines, joins, and terminals) are visually prominent, so the design’s character comes through most when reproduction is clean and sizes are not extremely small.
