A rough, ink-worn roman with visibly irregular contours and a slightly jittery baseline rhythm. Strokes are generally monolinear but vary subtly due to ragged edges and occasional thickened blobs, creating a printed-and-degraded texture rather than smooth vector outlines. The forms stay largely classic and readable, with modestly rounded corners, open counters, and a mix of straight and gently bowed stems; the overall width shifts slightly by character, reinforcing an organic, improvised feel. Numerals follow the same distressed treatment, with softened terminals and small nicks that break up silhouettes.

Works best for display roles where the distressed texture is a feature—posters, album/film artwork, book covers, packaging, and atmospheric branding. For longer passages it can be used when set larger with extra line spacing to preserve clarity and keep the texture from visually filling in counters.

The texture and uneven inking give a gritty, handmade tone—evoking worn signage, photocopied ephemera, or aged typewriter/letterpress impressions. It reads as informal and a bit ominous or underground, prioritizing atmosphere over polish.

The design appears intended to deliver a convincing worn-print effect while keeping familiar roman letter structures for quick recognition. Its controlled irregularity suggests a deliberate balance between legibility and grit, suited to projects that need an aged, tactile edge without fully abandoning typographic convention.

At text sizes the distressing aggregates into a strong surface grain, so spacing and counters benefit from comfortable sizes and generous leading. The capitals feel assertive and poster-friendly, while the lowercase retains enough openness to remain legible despite the edge noise.
