A high-contrast serif with sharply tapered joins and flared stroke endings that give the letterforms a carved, calligraphic feel. Stems read as sturdy and vertical while hairlines become extremely thin, creating a crisp light–dark rhythm. Serifs are bracketed and often wedge-like, with pointed terminals and occasional teardrop/ball details in the lowercase. Counters are compact and well-defined, and the overall silhouette is slightly condensed in places with lively, irregular stroke modulation across different glyphs.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, mastheads, brand marks, and premium packaging where contrast and detail can be appreciated. It can also support short pull quotes or section titles in editorial layouts, especially when paired with a quieter text face for body copy.

The tone is luxe and editorial, mixing classical bookish cues with a more theatrical, fashion-forward sharpness. Its dramatic contrast and sculptural terminals suggest prestige, tradition, and a touch of vintage glamour while remaining clean and contemporary in finish.

The design appears intended to deliver an elegant, attention-grabbing serif for high-impact settings, combining traditional serif structure with flared, tapering stroke endings for extra drama and a distinctive silhouette.

The uppercase shows strong, emblematic shapes (notably in letters like Q and S) and a consistent, chiseled contrast that becomes especially striking at display sizes. The lowercase introduces more personality through curved entry strokes, pronounced bracketing, and occasional ball terminals, which adds warmth and movement without turning informal. Numerals share the same high-contrast construction and read best when given space.
