This typeface shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with crisp, tapered terminals and a strong vertical stress. Uppercase forms feel compact and sculpted, while lowercase shapes are more varied and lively, with a two-storey “a,” a looped “g,” and ball-like dots on “i/j.” Curves are clean and controlled, counters are relatively tight, and joins often show gentle bracketing that adds a carved, finished look. Figures follow the same high-contrast logic with rounded bowls and sharp, narrow joins, giving numerals a poised, slightly classical rhythm.

Best suited to display and editorial applications such as headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and titling for magazines or books. It can also work for branding or packaging where a refined, high-contrast voice is desired, particularly at medium-to-large sizes that preserve the delicate hairlines.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, balancing elegance with a slightly dramatic, high-fashion snap. It reads as confident and cultivated rather than casual, with enough sharpness in the details to feel contemporary while still referencing traditional book and magazine typography.

The design appears intended to deliver a modern, high-contrast reading of classic proportions—pairing sharp, tapered endings and carefully shaped curves to produce an elegant, attention-grabbing texture for editorial and titling contexts.

In text, the strong contrast and fine hairlines create a vivid black-and-white texture, especially at larger sizes where the hairline details and tapered endings are most visible. The design has a noticeable rhythm from alternating thick stems and thin connectors, producing a distinctive, stylized color on the page.
