A calligraphic serif face with lively stroke modulation and pronounced wedge-like serifs. Stems swell and taper with an inked-pen logic, while many terminals flare or hook slightly, creating a rhythmic, hand-shaped texture. Capitals are broad and formal with sculpted curves (notably in C, G, O, Q) and asymmetrical finishing strokes; lowercase shows compact bowls, slightly narrow counters, and a gently varied baseline feel without becoming chaotic. Numerals follow the same chiseled, calligraphic construction, with strong thick–thin transitions and distinct, slightly oldstyle-like silhouettes.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where a crafted, classical personality is desired—such as book covers and chapter openers, theatrical or festival posters, artisanal packaging, and brand wordmarks. It can also work for invitations or certificates when a formal, hand-rendered serif tone is appropriate.

The font reads as traditional and literary, with a touch of medieval or renaissance flavor. Its textured modulation and expressive terminals suggest formality and craft, giving text a storybook, ceremonial tone rather than a modern or purely utilitarian voice.

The design appears intended to emulate formal pen-calligraphy translated into a serifed typographic structure, balancing readability with expressive, sculpted terminals. It prioritizes character and historical ambiance, offering a distinctive texture that elevates headings and featured text.

Stroke contrast is strong enough to create sparkle in display sizes, and the irregularities feel intentional and consistent, like drawn letterforms refined for type. The italic-like energy comes from pen-driven curves and hooked ends rather than an actual slant, keeping the overall posture upright while still animated.
