This serif features crisp, bracketed serifs and a distinctly high-contrast build with thin hairlines and sturdier vertical stems. The capitals are tall and stately with sharp apexes (notably in A and W), clean straight terminals on E/F, and a compact, controlled curvature in C/G/S. Lowercase forms are compact and traditional, with a two-storey a and g, a narrow, pointed-shoulder n/m rhythm, and a lightly hooked f; joins and curves are smooth and polished. Numerals follow the same contrast logic, with clear, bookish shapes and graceful, tapered terminals that keep the texture lively without becoming decorative.

Well-suited to editorial typography where contrast and refinement are desirable, such as magazines, essays, and book typography, especially at comfortable reading sizes. It also performs effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and elegant print pieces where its sharp detailing and stately capitals can be showcased.

The overall tone is formal and cultivated, evoking editorial polish and established publishing tradition. Its sharp hairlines and poised proportions lend an elegant, premium feel that reads as serious and composed rather than playful or casual.

The design appears intended as a conventional, high-contrast text serif that balances classical forms with crisp finishing details. It aims to deliver a polished reading texture while retaining enough sharpness and elegance to carry display roles in editorial layouts.

Across text settings the type builds a bright, refined page color: strong verticals create a steady cadence while the thin horizontals and hairline serifs add sparkle. The Q’s sweeping tail and the pointed, calligraphic-like terminals in letters such as a, y, and r introduce subtle flourish without breaking the restrained, classical character.
