A high-contrast serif with crisp hairlines and weighty, sculpted main strokes. Serifs are bracketed and sharp, with tapered terminals and a distinctly calligraphic modulation that shows up in letters like C, S, and a. Uppercase proportions feel sturdy and slightly monumental, while the lowercase has a compact rhythm with clear entry/exit strokes and a traditional two-storey g. Numerals are lining and similarly contrasty, with curved joins and decisive wedge-like finishing.

Best suited to headlines, decks, pull quotes, and other display sizes where contrast and detailing can shine. It also fits magazine and book-cover typography, as well as brand marks and packaging that benefit from a polished, traditional serif voice. For longer text, it will perform best with comfortable size and spacing to preserve its delicate hairlines.

The overall tone is classic and formal, with an editorial, premium feel. Its strong contrast and sharp finishing give it a dramatic presence suited to statements and refined branding rather than purely utilitarian text.

This design appears intended as a contemporary take on conventional text serifs, emphasizing elegance through strong stroke modulation, precise bracketed serifs, and a confident, authoritative uppercase. The goal seems to be versatile editorial typography that can move between refined branding and attention-grabbing display settings.

Counters are moderately open for a contrast-heavy design, and the joins and shoulders (notably in n, m, h) stay clean and controlled. The strong thick–thin rhythm is consistent across cases, and the punctuation and capitals in the sample text read with pronounced vertical emphasis and crisp word shapes.
