A compact italic serif with pronounced diagonal stress and sharp, tapered terminals. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation, with wedge-like serifs and bracketed joins that keep the letterforms feeling continuous rather than mechanical. Capitals are tall and slightly condensed, with pointed apexes and crisp arm endings; curves are tight and controlled, giving counters a relatively narrow, vertical feel. Lowercase forms maintain an energetic forward slant, with lively entry/exit strokes and small, firm serifs that support readability while preserving a brisk rhythm. Numerals follow the same slanted, tapered construction, reading as text figures in spirit even at display sizes.

Well-suited to magazine and book typography where an assertive italic is needed for emphasis, subheads, pull quotes, or lead-ins. It can also serve as a distinctive headline or display italic when a classic, high-energy serif texture is desired without losing a conventional reading feel.

The overall tone is traditional and editorial, with a confident, emphatic voice. Its italic posture and crisp modulation add drama and momentum, suggesting refinement and a slightly theatrical elegance rather than casual informality.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif reading experience with an elevated, emphatic italic voice—combining crisp contrast and tapered detailing to create a refined texture that stands out in editorial contexts.

Spacing appears disciplined and compact, producing a dense, cohesive texture in paragraphs. The italic construction stays consistent across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals, helping mixed-case settings feel unified and intentional.
