The design is built from heavy verticals and angular, broken curves that create a compact, dark color on the page. Stroke endings are sharply cut with wedge-like terminals, and many joins form pointed interior corners, producing a carved, faceted rhythm. Counters tend to be small and irregularly shaped, and the lowercase shows a structured, calligraphic construction with narrow apertures and prominent vertical emphasis. Figures are similarly blocky and stylized, matching the letterforms’ hard-edged silhouette.

Best suited to headlines, mastheads, posters, album or book titling, packaging, and identity work that benefits from a historic or gothic atmosphere. It can also serve well for signage, invitations, and event branding where a bold, ceremonial texture is desired. For longer passages, it will read most comfortably at larger sizes with generous tracking and line spacing due to its dense interior detail.

This face projects a forceful, traditional tone with a distinctly old-world authority. Its dense black texture and chiseled forms feel ceremonial and assertive, with a slightly roughened, hand-forged character that reads as historic and dramatic rather than refined or delicate.

The letterforms appear designed to evoke historical manuscript and inscriptional traditions while maintaining strong visual impact at display sizes. The emphasis on dark massing, angular construction, and distinctive internal shapes suggests an intention to create a recognizable, period-coded voice for titles and emblems.

Across the alphabet the forms remain consistent in their angular modulation, with a strong vertical rhythm and frequent broken strokes that create a textured, engraved feel. The sample text shows a pronounced, even darkness and a lively, slightly irregular edge that reinforces the hand-wrought impression.
