A crisp serif with bracketed wedges and sharp terminals, showing pronounced thick–thin modulation and fine hairlines. The proportions read slightly condensed overall, with compact bowls and a steady vertical stance. Serifs are relatively small but assertive, often ending in pointed, beak-like tips; joins are clean and the curves are tightly controlled. Lowercase forms keep a moderate x-height with delicate details (notably on a, e, r, and s), and the numerals follow the same high-contrast, editorial rhythm.

Well-suited to editorial typography such as books, magazines, and long-form reading where a classic serif voice is desired. It can also serve for refined headlines, cultural branding, and formal announcements or invitations where contrast and sharp detailing help convey prestige.

The tone is traditional and polished, evoking bookish authority and a composed, institutional feel. Its sharp serifs and bright contrast add a hint of drama, making it feel serious and articulate rather than casual.

The design appears intended as a conventional, literary serif with elevated contrast and precise finishing, balancing readability with a more refined, display-leaning sharpness. It aims to provide a credible, traditional tone while adding visual sparkle through hairlines and pointed terminals.

Capitals have a stately, inscriptional presence, while the lowercase maintains a lively texture through thin connecting strokes and brisk terminals. In text settings the contrast creates strong word shapes, but the finest strokes suggest it will look best when printing/rendering conditions are clean and sizes aren’t too small.
