A narrow, high-contrast serif with visibly roughened outlines that mimic worn printing or dry-brush inking. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and slightly irregular curvature, with bracketed serifs that taper into sharp, sometimes jagged terminals. The texture is consistent across caps, lowercase, and numerals, creating a lightly distressed rhythm without collapsing letter structure. Spacing reads moderately tight in text, and the overall color on the page is lively due to the combination of contrast and edge breakup.

Best suited to display and short-to-medium text where texture and personality are desirable: book covers, editorial headlines, posters, title sequences, and craft or heritage-leaning packaging. It can work for pull quotes or subheads, but the distressed edges and high contrast may reduce comfort at very small sizes or on low-resolution output.

The font conveys an antique, tactile tone—like letterpress or aged book typography—tempered by a slightly wild, hand-inked energy. It feels literary and atmospheric, with a hint of grit that suggests history, artifacts, and story-driven settings rather than corporate polish.

The design appears intended to evoke classic serif typography while introducing deliberate wear and ink irregularity for a crafted, timeworn finish. It balances recognizable old-style proportions with expressive roughness to add atmosphere and narrative character.

Capitals have a tall, commanding presence, while lowercase forms retain clear readability despite the distressed perimeter. Numerals follow the same textured logic, with distinctive, slightly calligraphic shapes that suit display use where character is preferred over neutrality.
