This serif shows sturdy, slightly condensed-to-moderate proportions with bracketed wedge serifs and a gently modulated stroke. Curves are full and rounded, with relatively open counters and a calm, even texture in text. The lowercase has a two-storey “a” and “g,” a prominent ball terminal on “j,” and a broad, footed “l,” while capitals keep classical Roman structure with a generous “Q” tail and a well-balanced “W.” Numerals are lining and strongly shaped, with clear differentiation and firm vertical stress.

Well-suited to editorial typography, book interiors, and magazine layouts where a classic serif texture is desired. It also works effectively for headlines, pull quotes, and formal branding applications that benefit from a traditional, trustworthy tone.

The overall tone feels traditional and literary, projecting reliability and formality without looking overly delicate. Its slightly robust shapes and warm brackets suggest a comfortable reading voice associated with printed books, editorial pages, and institutional material.

The design appears intended as a conventional text serif that prioritizes readability and typographic familiarity, combining classical proportions with enough weight and serif presence to hold up in both body copy and emphatic display settings.

In the text sample, the face maintains a steady rhythm with clear word shapes and a confident baseline presence. Serifs are noticeable but not heavy, helping guide the eye through longer passages while preserving crisp letter boundaries at display sizes.
