A conventional serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and a compact, space-efficient footprint. The design shows bracketed serifs, vertical stress, and sharply tapered joins that create a crisp, engraved-like rhythm. Proportions are on the narrow side with relatively tall ascenders and descenders, and the counters remain open enough to keep text from feeling congested. Numerals and capitals align with the same disciplined, vertical structure, while terminals and serifs stay consistent across the set for an even, text-oriented texture.

Well suited to book typography, long-form editorial layouts, and classic print design where a traditional serif voice is desired. Its narrow proportions can help fit more characters per line for magazines or newspapers, and it also performs confidently in headlines and pull quotes where the contrast and serifs add authority.

The overall tone is traditional and composed, with a refined, editorial character. Its high-contrast detailing and tight proportions convey formality and a slightly literary, old-style seriousness suited to established publishing aesthetics.

The design appears intended to deliver a familiar, classic text-serif experience with a refined, high-contrast finish, balancing compact width with legible counters. It prioritizes a disciplined, conventional rhythm for reading while retaining enough sharpness to work in editorial display settings.

In continuous text the strokes create a strong vertical cadence, with thin hairlines and crisp serifs producing clear word shapes at display-to-text sizes. Curved letters (like C, G, and S) keep a controlled, symmetrical feel rather than exaggerated flourish, reinforcing a restrained, conventional personality.
