A heavy, oldstyle-leaning serif with strongly bracketed, flared terminals that broaden into wedge-like endings. The strokes are robust and relatively even, with gentle modulation and rounded joins that keep the forms compact and dense. Capitals are wide and blocky with pronounced serifs and deep interior counters, while the lowercase shows single-storey a and g, a short-armed t, and a compact, rounded rhythm. Numerals are similarly weighty and open, matching the strong vertical stress and solid color of the letters.

Best suited to headlines and display settings where strong typographic color is desirable, such as posters, branding marks, packaging, and mastheads. It can also work for short blocks of text at larger sizes where its compact forms and sturdy serifs remain clear.

The font conveys a traditional, authoritative tone with a show-card boldness. Its chunky serifs and softened curves give it a familiar, heritage feel—confident and emphatic rather than delicate or editorial.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic serif voice with extra weight and presence, using flared, bracketed terminals to add warmth and a crafted feel while maintaining a strong, legible silhouette.

In text, the dense spacing and large, dark letterforms create strong texture and high presence, making line breaks and word shapes feel blocky and rhythmic. The flared, wedge-like terminals are consistently applied across uppercase, lowercase, and figures, reinforcing a cohesive, carved or engraved impression.
