A robust serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharply cut, bracketed serifs. The shapes are fairly broad with generous bowls and open counters, producing a solid, high-ink presence in text. Stroke endings often resolve into tapered or wedge-like terminals, and curves are smoothly drawn with a calligraphic sense of stress, giving the overall texture a classic, printed-page rhythm.

Well suited to editorial typography such as magazines, long-form articles, and book interiors where a classic serif voice is desired. It also works effectively for headlines, subheads, and quotes that need a confident, traditional tone, and for branding in contexts that benefit from a heritage or literary feel (publishing, cultural institutions, formal announcements).

This typeface projects a confident, bookish tone with a slightly theatrical edge. Its strong contrast and crisp serifs feel traditional and authoritative, while the lively curves and pronounced terminals add a touch of vintage charm.

The design appears intended to balance traditional text-serif familiarity with enough contrast and width to hold up as a strong headline or pull-quote face. Its sturdy proportions and clear internal spaces suggest an emphasis on legibility, while the sharper details and energetic terminals aim to add character and presence.

In the sample text, the spacing and word color stay even despite the strong contrast, helping paragraphs remain coherent at larger sizes. Numerals are sturdy and highly legible, and the overall silhouette favors stable, conventional forms with a few expressive terminals for personality.
