A very heavy display serif with pronounced flared, wedge-like terminals and strongly bracketed serifs that read as carved and sculptural rather than mechanical. Strokes show marked contrast, with thick verticals and thinner connecting strokes and joins, giving letters a dynamic, calligraphy-adjacent rhythm. Counters are compact and the weight is dense, while curves (C, G, O, S) are smoothly modeled with tapered endings. The lowercase features single-storey a and g, a sturdy, round-shouldered n/m, and a long, curling descender on y; overall proportions feel traditional with a moderate x-height and strong vertical emphasis.

Best suited to display work where its flared terminals and high-contrast modeling can be appreciated—headlines, editorial titling, book covers, posters, and brand marks. It can also work for short blocks of emphatic text (pull quotes, deck copy), especially when a dense, traditional serif feel is desired.

The font projects a bold, classic tone with a slightly ornamental, old-style flavor. Its sharp, flaring endings and dark color create an emphatic, attention-grabbing voice suited to heritage and prestige cues without feeling overly delicate.

This design appears intended to deliver a forceful, classic serif voice by combining substantial weight with tapered, flaring stroke endings and bracketed serifs. The result emphasizes impact and character over neutrality, aiming for strong recognition in titles and branding.

In text settings the face maintains a consistent dark texture and crisp silhouette, with terminals that create lively edge detail at larger sizes. Numerals are weighty and high-impact, matching the caps in presence, and punctuation appears designed to hold up against the heavy strokes.
