This typeface uses a blackletter-derived skeleton with sharp, fractured curves and prominent pointed terminals. Strokes show pronounced thick–thin modulation and a slightly rough, inked texture that makes the black shapes feel irregular and hand-drawn rather than mechanically uniform. Capitals are ornate and compact with hooked spurs and broken bowls, while lowercase forms keep tight counters, narrow joins, and strong vertical emphasis. Spacing and sidebearings vary by glyph, creating a lively rhythm and an intentionally uneven color across words.

Best suited to display settings such as headlines, posters, book and album covers, event titles, and identity marks where a historic or gothic mood is desired. It performs well for short phrases, titling, and wordmarks where texture and atmosphere are more important than long-form readability.

The overall tone is medieval and ceremonial, with a dramatic weight and assertive spikiness that reads as historic and authoritative. The distressed edges add grit and intensity, pushing the voice toward ominous, occult, or outlawed-storybook territory rather than polished formalism.

The design appears intended to evoke traditional blackletter signage and manuscript heritage while adding a worn, hand-inked surface for extra character. Its irregular edges and punchy modulation suggest an emphasis on mood, drama, and period flavor for modern display use.

At text sizes the dense counters and jagged detailing can merge, so clarity depends heavily on size and contrast. The numerals echo the same broken-stroke language and look best when treated as display elements rather than for data-heavy typography.
