A high-contrast serif with an assertive, display-forward build and a slightly expanded stance. Strokes alternate between very thick verticals and hairline horizontals, with pronounced bracketed serifs and frequent ball/teardrop terminals that give the contours a sculpted, ink-trap-like heft at joins. Curves are full and rounded (notably in C, G, O, and S), while crossbars and beaks stay thin and crisp, creating a lively light–dark rhythm. The lowercase shows compact counters and sturdy stems with a traditional two-storey a and g, while figures follow an oldstyle feel with varied widths and flowing curves.

Best suited to large sizes where the hairline cross-strokes and bracketed serifs can remain clear—editorial headlines, magazine mastheads, event posters, and brand wordmarks. It can also work for premium packaging or pull quotes, while longer body text would likely need careful size and reproduction to preserve the fine strokes.

The tone reads classic and editorial, with a dramatic, slightly theatrical flair driven by the extreme contrast and prominent terminals. It suggests sophistication and heritage without feeling delicate, leaning toward bold, attention-getting typography suited to headlines and short statements.

The design appears intended to deliver a traditional serif voice with heightened contrast and stylized terminals, maximizing visual impact and brand character in display typography while retaining familiar, conventional letterforms.

Spacing appears generous in display settings, helping the heavy verticals and hairline details stay distinct. The ampersand and punctuation carry the same bulbous terminal language, and the overall texture forms strong word-shapes with a pronounced thick–thin cadence.
